Waiting For You Beautiful Surrender Part One A Billionaire Romance edition by Ava Claire Romance eBooks

I realize that this is part 1 of a 5 part series, so let's address that first. There wasn't enough here to make we want to read part 2. There's really no cliffhanger, and, we don't know enough about the man with two first names, Logan Mason or is it Mason Logan (I don't recall and I JUST READ THIS BOOK), to make me care.

I felt for Melissa when she's dumped by a dude who is clearly cowardly and then has the gall to say that they're incompatible after they'd been together for so long. I think this was supposed to be the author leading us into the idea that Mel is a submissive, but it wasn't really clear.

I have an extreme interest in Melissa's entry into a submissive "relationship" even though I felt that she didn't ask enough questions of either her ex-bf or the new dude to make me feel comfortable. I found this whole thing curious. BUT, I feel the stronger BDSM storylines out there seem to work best when there's established trust between the couple. How can knowing this dude for all of 2 hours (with little conversation) be sufficient? It's just enough to look into his eyes and know?? If found this hard to believe since she was in that relationship with that dude that she thought she knew but who couldn't please her. The implication is that Jason is not a Dominant, but then again, I'm not a submissive so what would I know?

Waiting For You Beautiful Surrender Part One A Billionaire Romance edition by Ava Claire Romance eBooks Reviews

Melissa's boyfriend dumps her right before a big , expensive vacation she planned for the two of them to share. To deal with her feelings over his rejection, she decides to go anyway. Thankfully for her, the owner of the resort is a hunky dom looking for a new sub. This a great beginning to a really steamy story with great chemistry between the main characters.
I love it when authors give some story line and then get into the thick of it quickly! Logan is smoking HOT and a Dom. Melissa is lacking self esteem and is trying deny she is submissive; she will figure it out quick I bet; especially now that she has had a small taste of Logan! The first encounter was really very tame, not a lot of foreplay and no BDSM; Logan is being "patient". Let's see how long that lasts! Off to next book. I am enjoying and would recommend!
What a fantastic start to this series. I can't wait to get the next one and start reading it.

Melissa experiences a terrible breakup, but pushes through it by taking the trip she had planned for the both of them. Instead of escaping to seclusion, she finds dreamy Logan, who wants her.

Great chemistry between them, and love the spicy scenes.
Although I'm not a fan of this trend in writing "serial" books that are essentially a full length novel broken down into four or five parts, I found part one of this serial entertaining. Melissa's character was witty and I loved the mixture of insecure and headstrong. Who doesn't want to be dominated by an alpha male. And let me tell you, Logan is all alpha, exuding confidence. But for an erotic romance, I was a bit surprised at how short the only sex scene was.
I'm kind of at a loss. It took me all of 30 minutes to read this, and it left me more perplexed than interested. I believe in lust-at-first-sight, but THIS? The heroine takes one look at the hero and immediately wants to have sex with him, even though she's JUST had her long-term boyfriend dump her. Really?

I don't know much about BDSM, but as another reviewer mentioned, I would imagine a Dom/Sub relationship requires trust, which cannot be built in less than 24 hours. She's spent less than an hour actually with the hero, but she needs all of him, she's upset that he put up walls between them? She doesn't know what his favorite food or color is, yet she's intuitive enough to sense he's putting up a wall? And I wasn't feeling the sexual tension between the characters. If you're looking for something that is mostly fluff and only takes half an hour of your time, this will work. The writing isn't bad, it just seemed sort of blah for me.
This was a quick, enjoyable read. Melissa sucked me in with her relationship concerns and her idea to make it better, though she didn't get the chance before the break up. This was her chance for a new start, or at least a break from everyday life.

While this isn't insta-love, there is instant lust. I enjoyed their flirting, but was surprised by the BDSM turn at the end. Yeah, Melissa wanted more in the bedroom, but that seems like a drastic step. I'm glad Logan isn't rushing her and it makes sense that she's unsure. I'm interested to see if they can meet somewhere in the middle.
This was a great read. I loved the emotion behind it right from the start. What I really liked was that we got a sort of glimpse into Melissa's mind immediately. Yes, the break up happens, but she's been trying to keep it going and trying to please her long time boyfriend, but... nope.

I think a lot of people can relate to that. And then he just dumps her so easily? "I've found someone else," he says. "We haven't done anything yet, but I WANT to." Wow, what a jerk, seriously. Who does that?

It was all kind of surreal, but in that terrible, realistic sort of way. Everything progresses from that one moment, and I liked how the story went. It had a good pace, with just the right amount of apprehension and nervousness. It's understandable that Melissa doesn't want to start into a new relationship after what happened, and especially not with anyone when she's decided to go on a vacation. I don't know if a spring fling is going to be good for her, but...

Well, maybe Logan will change her mind?

I liked this story a lot, and I definitely can't wait to read the next one, too. Really excited to see where this all goes.
